December 18th, a water borehole, implemented using the funds of the social initiative “Well4Africa”, started operating in Namane village, Malawi. People of the local community, women in particular, are rejoicing because previously they had to walk several kilometres to reach the nearest water source that had only superficial and impure water.

It is the first water borehole that was implemented thanks to the benefactors of the social initiative “Well4Africa”. The works are being continued in Uganda, Kihani parish, where a big project consists of not only installing a borehole but also implementing a water supply system between the nearby villages and elementary as well as secondary schools. Soon works of another borehole will start in Nehumambi community in Zimbabwe. The social initiative is going to be continued thus we ask you to donate via the website well4africa.eu
