De acordo com os canais de not\u00edcias, os bancos est\u00e3o fechados, as escolas est\u00e3o fechadas, estradas est\u00e3o fechadas dentro e fora das principais cidades e sistemas de transporte fecharam. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 jornais que possam ser compradas, a Internet foi desligada pelo governo e tudo est\u00e1 em blackout total.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSe isso continuar por muito mais tempo, a crise humanit\u00e1ria vai escalar, &#8211; diz Ben Freeth de\u2018Campbell Foundation Mike\u2019, em Harare. &#8211; N\u00e3o podemos comprar comida porque as lojas est\u00e3o todas fechadas e sistemas de transporte fecharam. A maioria dos hospitais est\u00e3o sem medicamentos essenciais e tamb\u00e9m pessoal, porque os m\u00e9dicos e enfermeiros n\u00e3o pode sequer come\u00e7ar a trabalhar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cDe acordo com o Telegraph, cerca de 600 pessoas foram presas e dezenas feridas e mortas desde que o presidente Emmerson Mnangagwa anunciou um aumento de 150 por cento no pre\u00e7o do combust\u00edvel na noite de s\u00e1bado, o que provocou protestos em todo o pa\u00eds em meio a uma crise econ\u00f3mica que deixou muitos sem dinheiro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">N\u00f3s, como coordenadores \u201cWell4Africa\u201d, tamb\u00e9m perdemos o contato com os nossos irm\u00e3os e irm\u00e3s em Zimbabwe. Devido ao apag\u00e3o da internet nao h\u00e1 mensagens WhatsApp nem fotos podem ser enviadas, ningu\u00e9m pode acederr o Facebook ou o Messenger.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pedimos-lhe para orar por Zimbabwe e seu povo. Que o Senhor ou\u00e7a o grito de seu povo pobres e conceda a paz a este pa\u00eds. N\u00f3s tamb\u00e9m queremos pedir-lhe para rezar para que o projeto \u201cWell4Africa\u201d no Zimbabwe poderia ser implementado, apesar destes desafios.<\/p>\n<p><!--\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zimbabwe is among those countries, where \u201cWell4Africa\u201d water project is supposed to be implemented. A coordination team of the initiative is constantly communicating with the Secular Franciscans there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unfortunately, Zimbabwe is facing severe politic and <a href=\"https:\/\/economist.com.na\/41172\/extra\/a-letter-from-zimbabwe-where-the-country-is-in-total-shutdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">economic crisis<\/a> at the moment. According to news media channels, banks are closed, schools are closed, roads are closed in and out of the main towns and transport systems have shut down. There are no newspapers to be bought, the Internet has been shut down by the government and everything is at a complete standstill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIf this goes on for much longer, the humanitarian crisis will escalate, \u2013 says Ben Freeth from \u201cMike Campbell Foundation\u201c in Harare. \u2013 We cannot buy food because the shops are all closed and transport systems have closed down. Most of the hospitals are without essential medicines and also staff because doctors and nurses can\u2019t even get to work.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2019\/01\/18\/zimbabwe-reimposes-internet-blackout-crackdown-anti-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Telegraph<\/a>, some 600 people have been\u00a0arrested and scores injured and killed since president Emmerson Mnangagwa announced a 150 percent hike in the price of fuel on Saturday night, sparking nationwide protests amid an economic crisis that has left many penniless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We as \u201cWell4Africa\u201c coordinators, have also lost contact with our brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe. Due to internet blackout no WhatsApp messages or photos can be sent, no one can access Facebook or Messenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We ask you to pray for Zimbabwe and its people. May the Lord hear a cry of His poor people and grant peace to this country.
